As much as we love beautiful things, humans will close their eyes when they are so touched by “something” that they cannot bear to see it with their eyes wide open. It may be because we have excitement, anticipation, or even a little fear around the edges of what ever we are doing. Closing our eyes makes it seem safer.
And, when we close our eyes, we do not let the reality of life interfere with our search for possibilities. We know that things can happen that are not always explainable in ordinary terms. There is a certain physics of believing, or dreaming, or praying, that allows the future to be generated with our eyes closed.
Make a wish. Check your eyes. Were they opened or closed? How quickly did your wish manifest?
