On this last day of the month, I paused to think about the effect that one major Earth change had on the world, and on my life. The pictures below have been circulating in emails, showing the different aspects of the volcano in Iceland.
To me, the first picture, the eruption, is a mirror for us when we get angry. And, the lightening shows how we send barbs of nay wishing to others when we are angry. For this reason, my daily mantra is “I choose peace!”
The second picture, showing the ash and smoke coming out of the volcano shows that all things move along the easiest pathway. Nothing is flowing to the left of the volcano because the way seems blocked. So, for us, the humans on the planet, we can take a lesson from this picture and see that when we try to do something that is out of our nature, we will be blocked.
This third picture is about the way light shines through even the densest darkness – smoke and cloud cover. When we are in a place to see the light, our mood immediately lifts! In fact, we are all able to be the light. Yet, many of us want to be the cloud. Why is that? Is it easier? I think not.
This last picture shows perspective. The further away that we can move and stand back to look at the situation, the smaller the issue will seem.
